Andrea Nevedal, PhD

Dr. Nevedal is received her PhD in Anthropology at Wayne State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Nevedal is an Investigator, Senior Qualitative Methodologist, and Implementation Scientist at the VA Ann Arbor's Center for Clinical Management Research. She is faculty on the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) and Rapid Qualitative QUERI Learning Hubs and has been the Co-PI and Co-I on various VA QUERI and HSR projects. She led the development of a rapid qualitative analysis approach using the CFIR. In addition, she has expertise in understanding longitudinal pathways from implementation to sustainment, which received the Best of D&I Award at the D&I Academy Health Conference. She has a long-standing interest in using qualitative methods to understand provider and patient experiences to improve the delivery of healthcare.
