Emily Zhang, MD
Dr. Emily Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She received her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency training at UT Southwestern, where she also completed her fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. Following her training, Dr. Zhang joined UT Southwestern Medical Center as faculty where she practices as a clinical endocrinologist with clinical interests in diabetes, lipid, and adrenal disorders. She is also actively engaged in clinical research focused on cardiometabolic and adrenal diseases and serves as primary investigator on several clinical trials as part of the Diabetes and Obesity Research Program.
