Maintenance of Certification (MOC) compliance option

Participation in an eligible MOC program may satisfy most formal and informal CME requirements.

Where to Obtain your MOC Certificate

Proof of MOC participation can be downloaded from the physician’s medical specialty board website, such as:

  • ABIM
  • ABFM
  • ABP
  • ABR
  • Another ABMS or AOA specialty board

Within the specialty board portal, look for sections titled MOC Status, Certification Status, My Certificates, Verification Letter, or MOC Transcript.

Where to Upload the MOC Certificate in CE Broker

  1. Log in to CE Broker.
  2. Select the applicable Texas physician license.
  3. Click View Details.
  4. Click Report CE.
  5. Select Additional Options tab.
  6. Choose the appropriate renewal period.
  7. Select Maintenance of Certification (MOC).
  8. Upload the documentation provided by the specialty board.
  9. Submit the exemption.
