2. Eligibility Requirements

  • Abstracts must be submitted for consideration in a certified Continuing Medical Education (CME) activity.
  • In accordance with ACCME Standards, employees of ineligible companies (e.g., pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturers) may not author, co‑author, or present CME‑certified content.
  • Submissions which include authors who are employees of ineligible companies cannot be accepted.

3. Submission Deadline

  • All abstracts must be submitted on or before Friday, October 23, 2026.
  • Late submissions cannot be accepted.

4. Abstract Preparation Guidelines

  • General Requirements
    • Maximum length: 500 words
    • No tables, figures, or continuation pages
    • Spell out all abbreviations at first use
    • Work must be original
  • Required Content (Poster Format)
    • All submissions must include:
      • Title
      • Purpose of the study
      • Methods
      • Results
      • Conclusions
      • Author Information
        • List all authors, including valid email addresses.
        • All authors will be required to complete a CME disclosure form if the abstract is accepted.

5. Submission Categories

  • Poster Presentation (Printed Poster)

6. Review and Selection Criteria

  • Abstracts will be evaluated based on:
    • Clarity of purpose/problem statement
    • Quality of research methods 
    • Relevance to medical practice and contribution to the field

7. Notification of Acceptance

  • The First Author will be notified by email. 
  • All co‑authors will be copied.
  • Poster session/presentation time allotments will be determined at acceptance.

8. Required Disclosures

  • All authors must complete an online Financial Relationship Disclosure declaring relationships within 24 months of any with an CME-ineligible company.
  • Disclosures must be submitted no later than Friday, October 23, 2026.
  • Failure to complete disclosures may result in removal from the program.

9. Conference Registration

  • Abstract acceptance does not include registration or discounts.
  • All presenters must register for the conference independently.
