Mark Herrington, PharmD, BCIDP
Mark Herrington is an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist who completed his infectious diseases pharmacy training at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he developed a strong interest in the care of patients with malignancy and other immunocompromising conditions. His clinical interests include solid organ transplant infectious diseases, invasive fungal infections, and evidence-based antimicrobial optimization in immunocompromised patients. Dr. Herrington started at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2023 and is actively involved in interdisciplinary patient care and education, with a focus on translating emerging literature into practical clinical decision-making.
