Shameca earned her Bachelor Science in Radiation Therapt from Texas State University and an Executive MBA from Texas Women's Universisty. She joined the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern in 2022 where she is one of 7 Chief Radiation Therapists. With over 18 years of experience in Radiation Therapy, she has a strong background in leadership and commitment to building strong, competent leaders in her field. Shameca's drive is to maintain a culture of efficient and effective patient care. The patients are #1 priority. Without them, there would be no need for us. In her spare time, Shameca enjoys relaxing with her Mini Schnauzer, Layla, traveling, running, and enjoying a good meal with friends and family.
