EM2210D "Spectrum of Interferonopathies with Features of Vasculitis" (IM GR-100722)
Purpose and Overview
To increase awareness of monogenic autoinflammatory interferonapathies, review key features of autoinflammatory diseases in vignette style to help in the diagnosis and management, and somatic mutation in UBA1 that cause severe adult-onset autoinflammatory disease.
Target Audience
UT Southwestern faculty, fellows, residents and medical students, community physicians, nurse clinicians, physician assistants and nurses.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Understand differences between autoinflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
- Learn key features of monogenic interferon-mediated autoinflammatory diseases and their contrasting features of IL-1-mediated diseases.
- Learn newly discovered adult-onset autoinflammatory disease that presents with hematologic and rheumatologic manifestations.
