Purpose and Overview
This talk aims to describe the concept of remote ischemic condition starting from its preclinical discovery and evolution of different modalities of ischemic conditioning to clinical studies. Clinical applications and limitation of current studies will also be discussed.

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Understand the concept of ischemic condition and various varieties of ischemic conditioning.
- Understand basic mechanism of ischemic conditioning.
