To educate listeners about the role of APOL1 and its variants in susceptibility to kidney diseases
Target Audience
UT Southwestern faculty, fellows, residents and medical students, community physicians, nurse clinicians, physician assistants and nurses.

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Appreciate the role of APOL1 variants in kidney disease susceptibility
- Understand the relationship of ancestry to APOL1 associated kidney disease
- Appreciate the broad spectrum of APOL1 associated kidney phenotypes
