This lecture aims to explore the complex global landscape of neonatal sepsis, highlighting the disparities in neonatal mortality across regions, with a focus on preventable causes and inequities. The presentation will examine the unique challenges low-resource settings face in preventing and treating neonatal sepsis, providing insight into successful interventions and recent initiatives by the Pan American Health Organization. Through an in-depth look at strategies that address these inequities, the seminar will emphasize the need for equitable healthcare solutions to improve neonatal survival worldwide.
