To provide an opportunity for multiple disciplines to present and discuss approaches to care for patients who are being evaluated for breast cancer.
Target Audience
Faculty, as well as nurses, residents, medical students, the community physicians, staff and guests who are interested in the care of breast cancer patients.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Identify tools for the staging of breast cancer
- Develop comprehensive plans for care in complex breast cancer cases
- Better interpret breast imaging studies including mammography, MRI and ultrasound exams
- Identify clinical trials that would be appropriate for their breast cancer patients
