At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
1. Explain the principles of a cyclotron, radiochemistry and Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
2. Understand the translational role of PET in medicine
3. Have knowledge of FDA and radiation safety regulations on PET drugs and radiotracers
4. Understand how PET can or should be considered to enhance ongoing or future research projects/programs
