The purpose of this program is to provide participants a comprehensive day of updated material in ocular bacterial infections. This includes rare and unusual cases which might otherwise not be seen; reports on results of current and new surgical procedures, technologies and treatment modalities which could be incorporated into practices.

Target Audience

Faculty, fellows, residents, community physicians, and physician researchers interested ocular bacterial infections

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
1. Evaluate and treat ocular bacterial infections using new therapeutic modalities.
2. Recognize the systemic and environmental causes of ocular infections.
3. Discuss the potential use of anti-microbial agents in ocular bacterial infections.
