USMD's Updates in Risk Assessment and Genetic Testing for Hereditary Cancer (JS2011C)
This annual USMD lecture is targeted toward professionals who evaluate and treat Breast Cancer patients via surgery and/or radiotherapy. This year's presenter will provide updates
on NCCN guidelines for genetics referrals and discuss the availability and impact of expanded genetic testing options (i.e. broader panel genetic testing). In addition, discussions
will include updates in management for individuals with hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes, specifically with regard to cancer screening/prevention and treatment
considerations, and highlight the importance of interdisciplinary care.
