SRC's Marybeth Ezaki/Peter Carter Visiting Professorship Symposium (JS2210C)
This 1 and a half-day symposium will combine didactic lecture, case presentations, and interactive Q&A sessions to discuss recent developments and advances in the area of pediatric upper extremity surgery. The content will include management options for a variety of upper extremity conditions, and treatment options for radial polydactyly, triphalangeal thumb, and radial longitudinal deficiency.
Target Audience
Physicians, advanced practice professionals, nurses and other healthcare professionals who treat pediatric orthopaedic upper extremity conditions are encouraged to attend.
Learning Objectives
- Apply recent advances in research and discuss treatments for overgrowth symptoms.
- Assess and discuss differences in treatment options for the pediatric patient versus the adult patient with radial polydactyly, triphalangeal thumb, and radial longitudinal deficiency.
- Identify and discuss Madelung's Deformity and timing for the best treatment options currently available.
