HemeHub Hematology Summit 2026 (JS2610A)
The HemeHub Hematology Summit 2026 is a one‑day, hybrid CME activity designed to deliver comprehensive, evidence‑based updates in classical and malignant hematology. The program features expert‑led presentations and case‑based discussions addressing evolving standards of care, emerging therapeutic options, and practical management challenges across hematologic malignancies and nonmalignant hematologic disorders. Given the rapidly expanding therapeutic landscape—including cellular therapies, targeted agents, and updated clinical guidelines—there remains a demonstrated need for hematology professionals to strengthen competency in current best practices and implementation strategies.
Target Audience
This activity convenes academic faculty, community physicians, advanced practice providers, trainees, nurses, advocacy representatives, and other members of the oncology care team to address identified practice gaps, enhance clinical decision‑making, and support the delivery of evidence‑based, high‑quality care for patients in Texas and nationwide.
Learning Objectives
- Interpret emerging clinical trial data and updated national guideline recommendations relevant to contemporary hematology practice.
- Evaluate the evolving role of targeted and cellular therapies, including chimeric antigen receptor T cell–based approaches, and determine appropriate patient selection and timing of referral for advanced interventions.
- Apply evidence-based treatment sequencing and risk stratification principles in complex patient scenarios using a case based clinical framework.
- Recognize and discuss clinically significant toxicities associated with advanced therapeutic modalities to optimize patient safety and treatment continuity.
- Implement practical strategies for multidisciplinary coordination and collaboration between community and academic practice settings to facilitate timely, guideline aligned care.
