7T TANA 3rd Annual Meeting: Clinical Advances & Technical Challenges (RP2507A)

Dallas, TX US
July 14, 2025 to July 15, 2025

Overview

7T Translational Alliance in North America (7T TANA) is composed of 30+ sites across the USA and Canada. The mission of 7T TANA is to translate the powerful imaging capabilities of 7 Tesla MRI (7T MRI) to real-life benefits for patients, healthcare providers, and researchers in North America and worldwide. 7T MRI is a non-invasive imaging device that uses ultra-high magnetic field of 7 Tesla to scan human body. 7T MRI does not expose patients to ionizing radiation (like X-ray), and some 7T MRI systems have been cleared by FDA for clinical use. This annual meeting provides didactic lectures, breakout sessions, and interactive Q&A to provide a unique opportunity of discussing clinical advances and technical challenges to precipitate clinical translation, and to facilitate the standardization of imaging protocols and sharing of data and expertise.

Target Audience

This program is designed for physicians, technologists and researchers to discuss clinical advances and technical challenges of the 7 Tesla MRI.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify and analyze the primary challenges hindering the routine clinical application of 7T MRI for brain imaging.
  2. Discuss real life examples in which 7T added diagnostic value and mechanistic competence
  3. Evaluate the advantages and limitations of various strategies to enhance RF transmission efficiency in clinical 7T MRI.
  4. Discuss the potential of advanced image reconstruction techniques in improving the feasibility and practicality of 7T MRI for clinical applications.
