The Vascular Surgery Conferences are designed to update and review the participants in vascular surgery.

Target Audience

Practicing vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, community physicians and faculty, residents in training, fellows, medical students and other interested health care professionals.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 1) Better understand the pathophysiology, diagnostic testing, and management options (medical, surgical, and endovascular) in dealing with the patient and condition presented, as well as to be aware of recent clinical and research advances in the surgical areas listed above; 2) Better understand the basic science and mechanisms of disease associated with various vascular pathologic states as well as to apply current treatment approaches to their clinical practice; and 3) Better understand the pros and cons of current literature on a specific vascular disease topic as well as to formulate optimal conclusions based on consensus.
