37th Annual Carrell-Krusen Neuromuscular Symposium (RP1502B)

During this two day meeting, attendees participate in lively discussions around interesting and challenging patients. After this symposium the learner will formulate protocols for treatment and management of both common and unusual neuromuscular disorders. The participant will be able to identify characteristic findings on muscle biopsies and electrophysiologic studies, and describe recent advances in research on neuromuscular disorders.

Target Audience

This program is specifically designed for Primary Care providers, Neurologists, NPs, PAs, and RNs that desire to gain advanced knowledge in diagnosis and management of patients with neuromuscular disease. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to link the educational objectives to Core Competencies (Medical Knowledge) and:

  • Improve clinical updates in diagnosis and practice management in unusual neuromuscular cases.
  • Describe recent advances in basic and clinical research on neuromuscular disorders.
  • Identify characteristic findings on muscle biopsies and EMB studies on neuromuscular disorders.
  • Implement treatment based neuromuscular histopathology.
