Parkland's Updated Mass Critical Care Guidelines for Hospital and ICU Triage: A Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Through collaboration with local and national advocacy groups, very thoughtful revisions have been made to the mass critical care guidelines for triage in the exceedingly rare event needs overcome supplies.
The guidelines have a strong ethical basis of saving the most lives as possible while upholding non-discriminatory clinical judgments.
Accommodations to triage tools and algorithms are made clear in these guidelines, and knowledge of and education regarding the existence of these guidelines is crucial to the care of the patient as well as the hospital staff.

This course is designed for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Nurses, nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Physician Assistants, Pastoral Care Chaplains, Social Workers, Care Managers
