Learning Objectives

  1. Describe the difference between spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis which are common stress fractures in the spine.
  2. Identify the sports and movements that exacerbate stress fractures of the spine.
  3. Identify key physical exam findings that help to diagnose stress fractures of the spine.
  4. Discuss bracing options and other treatment recommendations for stress fractures in the low back.
