Learning Objectives

At the end of the activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize pediatric orthopedic conditions requiring immediate referral for evaluation and intervention, and those conditions which may safely be managed in the primary care provider’s office.
  • Summarize the current management of common pediatric orthopedic conditions.
  • Discuss treatment options for pediatric athletic injuries.
