At the end of the activity, participants should be able to:

• Describe epidemiology of human papillomavirus (HPV), and apply current HPV guidelines and algorithms to improve patient vaccination rates, diagnosis of HPV infection, and post-infection medical management
• Identify the key factors that influence parents to decline appropriate HPV preventive care and learn ways to better communicate cancer prevention benefits of the HPV vaccine.
• Identify epidemiology of hepatitis B and hepatitis C, including high-risk groups; note the link of the viruses to liver cancer; discuss proven prevention methods for hepatitis B and know hepatitis C has a curative treatment
• Identify common and significant clinical problems for patients with hepatitis B and hepatitis C; describe ways a successful navigation system meets the needs of patients and examine ways to improve his/her own clinical practice's patient navigation system.
