TSRH 39th Annual Brandon Carrell Visiting Professorship (JS1706G)
Lectures will be presented by Dr. Deborah Eastwood, consultant orthopedic surgeon and the orthopedic director of the Motor learning Laboratory at the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital in Stanmore, England. In addition, the staff at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and visiting pediatric orthopedists from throughout the United States will be making presentations. Ample time will be allowed for discussion of lecture topics between audience and the faculty.
Target Audience
This course is designed for pediatric orthopedic surgeons and other orthopedic surgeons with an interest in current pediatric orthopedic practice. Primary care physicians and allied health professionals are also welcome, but are reminded that the program is concerned specifically with pediatric orthopedics.

- Discuss recent developments and advancements in the area of pediatric orthopedics
- Identify management options for a variety of orthopedic conditions
- Discuss treatment options in slipped capital femoral epiphysis
