TSRH Marybeth Ezaki/ Peter Carter Visiting Professorship: Pushing the Envelope (JS1710B)
Lectures will be presented by Dr. Stephane Guero, Institut de Chirurgie de la Main. In addition, the staff at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and visiting pediatric upper extremity surgeons from throughout the world will be making presentations. Ample time will be allowed for discussion of lecture topics between the audience and the faculty.
Target Audience
This course is designed for pediatric upper extremity surgeons and other orthopedic surgeons with an interest in recent developments and advances, as well as management of the pediatric upper extremity patient. Primary care physicians and allied health professionals are also welcome, but are reminded that the program is concerned specifically with pediatric orthopedics and the upper extremity.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss recent developments and advances in the area of pediatric upper extremity surgery
- Identify management options for a variety of upper extremity conditions
- Discuss treatment options in cleft hand/foot treatment as well as treatment of clinodactyly
