MaiLan Nguyen, M.D.
Dr. MaiLan Nguyen earned her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in biomedical engineering and her medical degree from University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is an Assistant Professor within the Section of Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital. Her research focuses identifying the relationship between myositis-specific antibodies and muscle histopathology in patients with juvenile dermatomyositis.
