Mamatha Pasnoor, MD,
Graduated from Osmania Medical College, India in 1996, Completed Transitional year Residency at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center, Michigan in July 2002 and joined KU Neurology residency program. In 2005, joined the Neurophysiology Felllowship program at KU. After the training was completed, I joined the faculty position at KU as Assistant Professor and in 2014 promoted to Associate Professor and to Professor in July 2020. Presently I am the Program Director for Neurology Residency Program and Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship program and Associate Program Director to Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship programs.
Board certified in Neurology, clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Medicine
I am a member of American Academy of Neurology, AANEM, Muscle Study Group, PNS, Advisory board member for MGA, Member of the neuromuscular division and neurodegenerative division of the neurological diseases and Board member for the International GBS /CIDP foundation.
I manage patients in the neuromuscular clinics and also co-direct the Kansas Neuropathy Center for Excellence. I am currently involved in in ultiple neuromuscular research projects with main focus on peripheral neuropathy and Myasthenia Gravis.
