Svetlana Eckert, M. D.
Dr. Eckert is currently a second-year fellow in a combined Multiple Sclerosis - Demyelinating diseases and Neuroimaging fellowship at the Jacobs Multiple Sclerosis Center for Treatment and Research at UBMD Neurology. She completed her Neurology residency and medical training at the University at Buffalo. Her ongoing clinical and research interests include multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, and associated disease biomarkers especially autoimmune antibodies and their ability to predict disease progression and/or treatment response. She is also a part-time inpatient neurology attending at Buffalo General Medical Center and regularly teaches medical students and residents.
