141 Ophthalmology Bi-Monthly Conference: "Ocular Neovascular Disease: All Roads do not Lead to VEGF" (092118)
The purpose of this program is to allow participants a comprehensive day of updated material in the ophthalmology field. This includes rare and unusual cases which might otherwise not be seen; reports on results of current and new surgical procedures, technologies and treatment modalities which could be incorporated into practices, and comprehensive reviews of other ophthalmologic topics germane to the everyday practice of optometry through lecture and slides.
Target Audience
Faculty, fellows, residents, community physicians, and physician researchers interested in ophthalmology review and discussion of relevant clinical cases and issues.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, a participant should be able to:
• List new surgical and medical treatment modalities for treating pediatric uveitis.
• Identify current ophthalmology literature on clinical trials on uveitis.
• Discuss results of recent clinical studies of various ophthalmologic procedures and treatment modalities.
