Pamela Ponners, Ph.D in Learning Technologies
Dr. Ponners is a graduate of the University of North Texas. Her main research interest is in the area of emerging technologies focusing on educational transmedia materials as well as 3D printing and how the technology can be effectively implemented in an educational setting. She has presented both nationally and internationally over the topics of Instructional Design, Augmented Reality, and Informal Learning Environments. Dr. Ponners holds 8 teaching certifications in the state of Texas, including Master Technology Teacher and Administration Certification. She has 16 years of teaching experience in the elementary and secondary classroom as well as higher education. She is actively involved in the research community, holding leadership positions in the Association for Educational Communication & Technology (AECT) as well as the Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education (SITE).
