These Grand Round presentations are provided to make physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and professional staff aware of the latest developments in various areas of psychiatry and medicine.  The health care professional will update their clinical skills and be provided a knowledge base that will enhance the diagnosis and treatment of patients

Target Audience

Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, Psychologists, LPC's, Chaplains, and all other interested TSH employees.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Identify diagnosis according to the DSM-V criteria 

2. Recognize and initiate appropriate treatment

3. Integrate the most recent psychiatric disorder updates

4. Apply curretn ethical concepts in treatment of psychiatric disorders

5. Evaluate appropriate antipsychotic medications
