John Ferguson, III
John R. (Bob) Ferguson, former Managing Director and Board Member of TDIndustries, Inc. he and his brother Rick were raised in the small east Texas town of New Boston. He received his BBA, Engineering Route to Business from the University of Texas; attended the Stanford Graduate School’s Executive Program.
Bob worked at TDIndustries for 45 years. He continues to serve as a mentor, teacher and coach to the TDPartners. TDIndustries has a philosophy of Servant Leadership is also a productive one, TDIndustries has been named to Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” for the past 21 consecutive years -- one of only 14 companies in the U.S. to have made the Fortune list every year since its inception in 1998.
Bob is active in his community and was a former member of the Dallas County Community College District Board of Trustees. He also served as chairman of Texas Health Resources is a former chairman of the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries, the Private Industry Council, and of the Dallas All Sports Association and former member of the Cotton Bowl Board of Directors. He is a past president of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and active member, and still serves on the Executive Board of the Circle Ten Council of Boy Scouts.
Bob has been married to his wife, Cindy, since 1967. They have two adult children, Matt and Betsy, also living in the Dallas area. Matt and his wife, Renee, have two children. Betsy and her husband, Jay, have two children.
