Eric Chambers, MBA, BSRT (T), CPHQ
Eric Chambers is Clinic and Technical Manager at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Undergraduate studies completed at Texas Tech University where he assisted in a laboratory investigating radiation effects on animals inhabiting the Chernobyl fallout zone in Ukraine. After graduation, he studied radiation therapy and practiced clinically at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Eventually, Eric moved back home to Dallas to continue his Radiation Oncology career at UTSW. Eric completed an MBA in Healthcare Management from UT Dallas and has additional certifications in Lean Six Sigma and as a CPHQ or certified professional in healthcare quality form the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
In his time at UTSW Eric has been active in the development and implementation of novel treatment techniques for total body irradiation, stereotactic body radiation therapy, CBCT based treatment planning, and adaptive radiation therapy. Eric helps to coordinate the Radiation Oncology quality assurance program particularly the technical aspects of treatment planning and delivery. Additionally, he enjoys assisting programming teams design and deploy custom technology to enhance the clinical experience for staff and patients. .
