Key Class Series-Point of Care Resources (August 6, 2019)
The ability to access and use information resources efficiently is key to clinical decision-making which effects patient care overall. Learn how to readily access resources at the point of care. Each resource has its own unique way to search effectively and one method does not fit all.
The Health Sciences Digital Library and Learning Center hosts a Key Class series annually which covers their most frequently requested topics. The series enables designated time to discover resources and services that can impact patient care such as expert database searching, evidence-based practice, and an introduction to systematic reviews & meta-analysis. The classes are hands-on and open to all UT Southwestern faculty, students and staff.
This is one of four 2-hour sessions offered, including Point of Care Resources, Expert Database Searching, Evidence-Based Practice, and Introduction to Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analysis.
