Kelly Chin, MD, MSCS
Dr. Kelly Chin is an Associate Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School. She completed medical school and a residency in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern and completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Chin is the medical director of UT Southwestern's Pulmonary Hypertension Program, one of only two pulmonary hypertension programs in Texas which are nationally accredited as comprehensive care programs.
She conducts clinical research into pulmonary hypertension treatments, markers of prognosis, and risk factors for pulmonary hypertension, and has published more than two dozen peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on pulmonary hypertension. She has also served on PAH clinical trial steering committees and end-point adjudication committees, and is currently serving as an Associate Editor for Circulation and as a member of the Scientific Leadership Committee for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
