Mary Lea-Holmes
Mary Lea-Holmes has 25+ years of experience in healthcare, most of which relates to overseeing the billing and collections functions of government and non-government payors. She is also Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
Prior to returning to Parkland in 2006, Mary Lea spent 8 years at HCA-Patient Account Services. She served as the Director of Billing and Government Collections from 2000-2006, where she managed billing and government collections for 13 facilities in TX, OK and KS. She was also Director of Business Office at HCA Dallas Southwest Medical Center (1998-1999) and later promoted to the Director, Billing and Compliance (1999-2000).
Mary Lea has a total of 14 years of experience at Parkland. From 1994 -1998 she served as Manager of Patient Account Maintenance Specialist and was later promoted to Billing Manager. In 2006, she accepted the position of Patient Financial Service Director – Billing and in 2013 moved to the Compliance and Ethics Department where she served as the Director of Revenue Cycle Compliance and was promoted to Vice President of Compliance Oversight and Auditing and Monitoring in 2018.
