ForwardTSRH's 'Controversies in Pediatric Limb Reconstruction' (JS2002G)
This interactive symposium will provide a venue for physicians from around the world to collaborate on the latest techniques and controversies in various pediatric limb deficiencies such as complex pediatric trauma and post-traumatic sequelae (bone loss and soft tissue loss), pediatric musculoskeletal infection, foot and ankle deformity, and severe leg length differences. Our goal is to provide a deep learning experience for practitioners and provoke discussion that improves care for children everywhere.
Target Audience
The target audience includes practicing pediatric orthopedic surgeons, pediatric orthopedic fellows, and general orthopedic surgeons with an interest in lower extremity reconstruction for a variety of pediatric orthopedic conditions.
Learning Objectives
- Identify and discuss the most current controversies in the management of complex pediatric trauma and post-traumatic bone and soft tissue loss.
- Identify and discuss the most current controversies in the management of pediatric musculoskeletal infection.
- Identify and discuss the most current controversies in the management of the neglected or teratologic clubfoot.
- Identify and discuss the most current controversies in the management of severe limb length discrepancies.
