I received my PhD degree in Pediatric Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami in Miami, FL, and completed my internship at the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development. After internship, I completed post-doctoral training at a private practice in Miami FL, focusing on pediatric assessment and therapy, and worked as an independent practitioner in Miami before joining the staff at TSRH. My clinical interests include identifying and addressing familial variables that play a role in the care of medically complex patients, exploring that role that psychology can play as part of a patient’s pre-operative assessment and education, as well as developing psychology’s role within the patient transitional care process.
