Scottish Rite for Children's 'Pediatric Orthopedic Education Series 2021' (JS2102B)

Scottish Rite Hospital for Children presents a Pediatric Orthopedic Education Series (POES): Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Topics for Health Care Professionals. This one-day conference will review common musculoskeletal pathologies with an emphasis on virtual demonstrations for performing a pediatric orthopedic examination. These new skills will enable the practitioner to perform a detailed musculoskeletal examination, and combine that information with additional musculoskeletal learning to diagnose and either treat or refer the patient to a qualified pediatric orthopedist. Additionally, the participant will use these improved skills to assist with treating and/or referring atraumatic musculoskeletal conditions pertaining to musculoskeletal infections and pediatric rheumatology.
