Louis was born in Tampa, Florida, and received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Florida. He is currently a third-year doctoral student in the Statistical Science Department at Southern Methodist University (SMU). Since the summer of 2020, he has worked as a statistician for Yin Xi, PhD, across several projects as part of a research assistantship between SMU and UT Southwestern.
