Shelley Evans, M.Ed., LPC, EMDR Certified, EMDR Consultant in Training
Shelley obtained her Master’s degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR. Her professional counseling experience includes 4 years in private practice and 12 years in residential treatment centers as a therapist and clinical program manager. Additionally, she has served as the County Director for Child Protective Services in 2 states, as well as Administrative Director for a developmental center. She is EMDR Certified and also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Feeling State Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and Internal Family Systems. She also has a special interest in the ongoing neuropsychological research for therapy application. Now at Santé, Shelley’s passion is working with her clients’ to identify and process their trauma and learn to achieve and maintain sobriety through the development of healthy coping, relational and social skills. Shelley appreciates Sante’s teamwork, values and mission. In her spare time, Shelley enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities.
