Janna Journeycake, MD, MSCS
Janna Journeycake completed her pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma- Tulsa and then moved to Dallas to complete her fellowship training in pediatric hematology/oncology as well as her Masters of Clinical Science from UT Southwestern. She was on faculty at UTSW from 2002-2018. She recently accepted a position as Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Division Director of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. She is nationally recognized for her clinical and research expertise in pediatric bleeding disorders and thrombosis and has received federal and foundation funding for research on the prevention and treatment of catheter-related thrombosis. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society and is Chair-Elect for the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network.
