Phillip Mason, MD
Dr. Phillip Mason completed his undergraduate training at Texas A&M University and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1999. He then completed a residency in emergency medicine at Carolinas Medical Center prior to entering active duty military service in the United States Air Force. Dr. Mason subsequently completed a fellowship in critical care medicine and a Master of Science in Clinical Research degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and a fellowship in extracorporeal life support at Houston Methodist Hospital. He is a Colonel in the US Air Force and currently serves as the Adult ECMO Medical Director at Brooke Army Medical Center.
