Sue Ellen Cox, MD

Dr. Sue Ellen Cox is a board certified dermatologist, dermatologic surgeon and founder of Aesthetic Solutions in Chapel Hill, NC. She earned an undergraduate degree from New York University, medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Cox is recognized for her expertise in facial rejuvenation using lasers, injectable fillers and neuromodulators. She runs an active clinical research center for injectables and medical devices, serves as a contributing editor for the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery, and has authored or co-authored more than one hundred peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Dr. Cox consults with pharmaceutical and device manufacturers, serves on numerous committees and boards associated with the ASDS and the AAD, and is the current president of the ASDS. Dr. Cox most enjoys hosting cosmetic dermatology clinic for residents from the UNC Medical Center and Duke University Medical Center, where she serves as Adjunct Professor and Consulting Associate Professor, respectively.
