Oluwole Jegede, MD, MPH

Dr. Oluwole Jegede is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine and Director of the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) consultation clinic at the Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC), New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Jegede obtained his medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from George Washington University, Washington DC. He completed his residency at One Brooklyn Health-Interfaith psychiatry program where he was center wide Chief Resident. Dr. Jegede was a REACH scholar (Recognizing and Eliminating disparities in Addiction through Culturally informed Healthcare) and completed his Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. His core research interests are in developing pharmacologic treatments in addiction psychiatry, health services research exploring disparities in addiction, and social determinants of substance use disorders.
