James Muldowney, Assistant Professor of Medicine - Vanderbilt University Medical Center
Dr. Muldowney has been an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since 2006. He is a staff physician at Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute and the Nashville Campus of the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Department of Veteran Affairs where since 2007 he has also served as Director of Echocardiography. He has his A.B. in Chemistry from Princeton University (1994), his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (1999). Dr Muldowney was a resident in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania fro 1999-2001. He was a fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2001-2006. He has been an autonomic disease specialist since 2014.
