Marc Kaufman, PhD
I received my PhD in physiological psychology from the Univ. of Miami in 1977. Afterwards, I spent three years as a post-doctoral fellow in the Cardiovascular Research Institute at UCSF. Following that I have served as a faculty member at the UTSW, UC Davis and Penn State College of Medicine. I have served as a regular member of three NIH study sections and chaired two of them. I have approximately 175 peer reviewed publications and have been continuously funded by the NIH for the past 40 years. My research interest is in neural control of the circulation during exercise.
