Siqi Wang, PhD

Siqi Wang, PhD, is a research scientist in the Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center, University of Louisville. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering focusing on medical device and bio-signal processing from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China in 2008, Wang earned her Doctoral (Biomedical Engineering) degree with a focus on autonomic control of cardiovascular system from the University of Kentucky in 2012. She studies cardiovascular dysfunction following spinal cord injury and restoration of homeostasis by using neuromodulation, as well as the mechanisms of cardiovascular deficits and restoration.
