Dr. Park's research over the past years has focused on the autonomic disorders, neurological rare diseases including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and clinical pharmacology in various neurological disorders (early clinical trials and pharmacogenomics).
Dr. Park was trained as a physician-scientist and was appointed as Korean representative of the Young Neurophysiologists Network (YNN) in the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN).
His work in rare neurological disorders is also focused on multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) to find novel biomarkers and new therapeutics related to this.
