Tiffany Willis, PsyD
Dr. Tiffany Willis is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University and her Doctorate of Psychology from the University of Denver. She received her postdoctoral training from the University of Colorado at Denver, School of Medicine, where she was a participant in the nationally recognized Harris Infant Mental Health Fellowship program, which focuses on providing therapeutic services to children birth to five years of age, and their families.
Currently, Dr. Willis an associate professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City serves as the Neonatal Psychologist at Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas City where she works with the Fetal Health Center for women delivering babies with identified congenital anomalies, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the Neonatal follow up clinic. Dr. Willis’ clinical interests include attachment and bonding, trauma, infant mental health, perinatal mental health, and minority/underserved populations. Dr. Willis’ research interests include the impact of psychosocial support for parents on the well-being of their baby and the power of attachment on the developing brain.
Dr. Willis is on the board of directors and a founding member of the Missouri Association for Infant Mental Health and Early Childhood (MOAIMH-EC), a member of the Kansas Association for Infant Mental Health (KAIMH), and sits on a national workgroup of leading NICU Psychologists. Dr. Willis was recently selected to join the prestigious Black Achievers Society and in November will be recognized as one of five Consensus KC Civility Award winners for your commitment to the community. Dr. Willis enjoys community service and volunteers with Missouri’s Black Health Care Coalition and is a big sister in the Big Brother Big Sister of Greater KC program.
